William D. Dallas, Chairman, Dallas Capital Management

Bill Dallas is a dedicated entrepreneur. 

IIn 1981, he co-founded First Franklin, and served as its Chairman, CEO and Chairman Emeritus until 2003. Bill's leadership built First Franklin into one of the nation's largest residential lenders and turned the value from the sale of First Franklin into Dallas Capital. Dallas Capital is the private investment firm and family office for Dallas family holdings. The company has developed significant expertise by investing in and operating a variety of financial companies. Dallas Capital helps entrepreneurs take the next step.

Dallas Capital was a founding investor in two California Independent Banks; Heritage Bank of Commerce and California Oaks State Bank. Mr. Dallas also invested in Ownit, MindBox, Interthinx, and Factual Data all respected providers of financial services. Today, he is Chairman/Broker for Diversified Capital, one the nation's leading mortgage companies. 

In 2001, Dallas Capital partnered with Fox Sports to build the premier viewing, dining, sports and entertainment experience FOX SPORTS GRILL, 2004 "Hot Concept of the Year." Mr. Dallas is co-trustee and financial manager for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and their business interests.

He earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree, Magna cum Laude, from Bowling Green State University in 1977 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santa Clara School of Law in 1987.

Outside his business interests, he and Scott Hamilton are championing the next generation of entrepreneurs at Dallas/Hamilton Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at Bowling Green State University. Bill is married to Bev and they have five children; Adam, Billy, Nick, Jake, and Bobbi Jo.
