Oaks Christian School
MISSION STATEMENT
To dedicate ourselves to Christ in the pursuit of artistic expression, and athletic distinction, while growing in knowledge & wisdom through God's abundant grace.
Our Blessings
Oaks Christian School is an independent, college preparatory, Christian
Day School serving grades 6 through 12. Blessed with some of the finest
facilities in the country, OCS seeks to prepare minds for leadership
with hearts for service. Rigorous college preparatory academics are
integrated with athletics, the arts, and Christian worldview to develop
the whole child.
Oaks Christian opened in the fall of 2000 and serves grades 6-12. Today,
the 18-acre campus has grown to almost 1,000 students while maintaining
small class sizes and personal attention.
Oaks Christian believes in the Living Curriculum - teachers who are
masters of their academic discipline and role models to their students.
Teachers share a common belief in Jesus and are motivated to help each
student find and develop their God-given talents.
The academic campus features the latest technology throughout each classroom
and library. State-of-the-art science labs, technology labs, and performing
arts facilities bolster Oaks Christian's challenging academic program.
The athletic facilities at Oaks Christian rival many small colleges.
A lighted football stadium seats 2,500 people and includes an all-weather
track. The athletic center features an NBA-length gym, state-of-the-art
fitness center, a dance and wrestling room, and a fully equipped training
center. An internationally recognized Olympic swimming center features
electronic touch pads and facilities for diving. Baseball and softball
stadiums utilize AstroPlay, the latest technology in artificial turf.
As an independent Christian school, Oaks Christian is not affiliated
with any particular church or denomination. While located adjacent to
Calvary Community Church, the school and the church are completely separate.
