Dallas Capital and a group of private investors invested $17 million in The Harvey Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HRVY), a publicly traded, diversified entertainment company, engaged in the management and exploitation of branded characters through merchandising, licensing, and all entertainment media.

The Harvey Classic Character brands, an entertainment library of over 150 motion pictures and 165 television episodes, including episodes of Harvey Classic Animation, were sold to Classic Media, LLC on March 8, 2001. Mr. Dallas, as a board member and advisor, helped Harvey sell the assets, retain its public shell, and convert the business to Sunland Entertainment, a production & independent motion picture company.

Sunland Entertainment now operates as Trestle Holdings, LLC (TLHO.OB). Trestle develops and sells digital imaging and telemedicine applications to the life sciences markets. The company’s products, MedReach, MedMicro and MedScan, link dispersed users with each other, information databases, and analytical tools. This improved integration drives cost savings and process efficiencies, reduces time to market for new drugs, improves patient care, and increases revenue.
